The public has increasingly become concerned about where their food comes from, their health and the health of our planet. In turn, conversations regarding plant based diets will likely become a topic of discussion during patient visits.
Official legislative business will begin in early January 2017 for the "long session" when legislators will meet through the end of April 2017 with the primary goal of crafting the state's biennial budget. Health care issues impacting family medicine will also be considered.
