Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Needs Assessment

From Susan Elsworth, Executive Director | Indiana Alliance on Prenatal Substance Exposure:
I invite you to take advantage of an important opportunity supported by the Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) to help the IN Alliance on Prenatal Substance Exposure learn more about the effects of FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders) in Indiana. We know that 1 in 20 school aged students meet the criteria for FASD (May, 2018) and the CDC reports 1 in 7 pregnant people report drinking while pregnant. By sharing this survey link we hope to gather information about the needs of children, families, providers and community agencies so we can make recommendations and an action plan for the state of Indiana. We want to hear from people with FASD, their families and caregivers and the community partners who serve them.
We are asking you to share this opportunity widely to include everyone possible by posting to your website, social media and other sources.
Please complete the survey by Wednesday, September 7, 2022.
For questions about the needs assessment, please contact me at selsworth@mhai.net. For more information about FASD visit https://inalliancepse.org.
Thank you for your support and participation in this incredible opportunity to improve services in Indiana.
