HIP 2.0 Approved Today!

This morning, Governor Mike Pence announced that the expanded Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP 2.0) received federal approval and may begin as early as this Saturday, February 1. It is believed that up to 350,000 Indiana residents qualify for the new plan. Those currently enrolled in HIP will not have a break in coverage, though some terms of the plan will change. Those who have been placed on the waiting list since July will now have their applications processed. Those who have not yet submitted an application for HIP may now apply for HIP 2.0. More details may be found at HIP.in.gov

We understand that this long awaited news also means that patients, physicians and office staff will need to quickly be brought up to speed with all that the plan entails. Your Academy staff will continue to work with appropriate administrators to provide you with the information that you need to know.
