Updated COVID-19 Resources

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has updated its new COVID-19 online dashboard to reflect two additional presumptive positive cases. The patients reside in Adams and Boone counties. This brings to six the number of Hoosiers who have tested positive for COVID-19.

The dashboard can be found at https://on.in.gov/COVID19 and will be updated daily at 10 a.m. and will reflect results received through midnight.

Consult the ISDH’s frequently updated webpage for news and guidance on the outbreak: https://on.in.gov/COVID19

You can also sign up for email alerts whenever this page is updated (sometimes several times per day). The IAFP will continue to send updates on the latest developments in its member newsletter, IAFP Today.

As more is being learned about the coronavirus infection, the AAFP has a team that is monitoring the situation on a daily basis and posting all relevant updates on its dedicated COVID-19 resource on AAFP.org. There is a lot of evolving, and sometimes inaccurate, information about the situation, so members can be confident that this page contains the most recent information they need that is aligned with the CDC and focused squarely on family medicine.

Here are some of the new resources you may find valuable:

  • Last week, the AAFP launched the COVID-19 Rapid Response Member Exchange community to offer members a place to have real-time conversations, ask questions and share information. If you have not already, we encourage you to join the community and participate as you feel appropriate.
  • The AAFP recently updated the COVID-19 page on Familydoctor.org with the latest evidence-based information for patients. Members can confidently refer patients here for advice on prevention, education about symptoms and more.
